Left-Hand Ascender

Stec hand ascenders are made from aluminum alloy with carbon-steel parts and a rubberized grip that improves ergonomics, available in different colors — orange for the left hand, blue for the right. Its locking cam works even in extreme dirt and/or moisture. Fits ropes 8–12 mm in diameter: pushed in the direction of the arrow it slides freely, and pulling engages the lock. Working load 4100 kg; breaking load 4 kN. Used for rope progression and is easy to install; can also serve as a locking element in force-reduction (hauling) systems. Rope range: Ø 8.0–12.0 mm.
