Evo Descender Gray, No Anti-Panic

The EVO descender family was developed for vertical activities including rope access, rope-rescue systems, work at height and adventure activities such as rappelling and canyon/waterfall descents. The EVO is tested to CE EN 12841:2006 Type C for use with low-elongation semi-static ropes of 10.5–11.5 mm diameter. The EVO is a self-locking descender. It lets the user perform maneuvers such as: controlled rope descents; it has an automatic lock but no anti-panic feature; moving horizontally or on inclined planes; positioning at the work point without needing to tie off the device; it can also be used as part of a load-hauling system on progression, and for short rope ascents (by adding a Stec S01 footloop). A side plate with a clip lets you attach and remove the rope quickly. Rated for descending heavy loads up to 250 kg (experienced users only — consult the instructions for use at www.safetecbr.com.br). The Evo D02 comes with a wire clip gate and no anti-panic feature. Intended for professional use, its wire gate eases rope placement and removal. This model is available in gray.
